Winter in Miami brings some of the best events from around the world and this week is no exception. Welcoming the very best talent from around South Florida, the nation and the globe, the South Beach Food and Wine Festival (SOBEWFF) runs from February 19 through the 23rd. With events throughout the festival to fit every taste and budget, this event is a must see for, well, everyone.
This national, star-studded destination event draws people from all over… from the hottest chefs to wine and spirit producers, culinary greats, foodies and everyone in between. Favorite events including the grand tasting & demos, $100 and Under and the late-night parties are back this year along with some new events. The bubbles & bites happy hour features exclusive champagnes and perfectly paired bites at the gorgeous Betsy Hotel Rooftop Pool Deck. The Foodie Movie Night in the Park offers an excellent choice for parents and kids alike with a screening of The Hundred Foot Journey in Hallandale Beach complete with wine, family-friendly beverages and some of South Florida’s best food trucks. Heineken’s Burger Bash, Sandwich Showdown, Rose Pool Party and the Hallandale Beach Food & Groove, A Wine, Food and Art Experience are just a few of the amazing, non-stop lineup of events this year.
Of course, the stars of the festival are the amazing chefs, wine experts, on-air personalities and other culinary experts. Among the stellar talent that will be in attendance this year are Cat Cora, Ted Allen, Chris Consentino, Fernando Cruz, Giada De Laurentiis, Martina McBride, Marcus Samuelsson and many, many more.
