Looking for a fun way and unique to celebrate summer? Miami’s Design District is the place to be. On August 21st, the Miami Design District presents the community craft market at Roots Miami Kava Bar. Free to the public, this community event will feature a variety of vendors selling everything from jewelry, clothing, personal care products to culinary delights. Highlighting the market is live music, guided meditation and yoga sessions.

If art is more your style, also on Wednesday, August 21st in the Miami Design District, is the Public Art Tour. Held on the third Wednesday of each month, the tours showcase selected art and architecture across the neighborhood. Guided by art critic, journalist and educator Margery Gordon, visitors will discover feature favorite pieces and new additions in each month’s tour. This is a great way to get to know the Design District and explore Miami. Afternoon art tours also take place once a month. You can find the schedule here.
